About

I am a founding president of Center for Multidisciplinary Studies and Innovation (CeMuSI), Kathmandu, Nepal. I am also a post-doctoral research fellow at The Rachel and Selim Benin School of Computer Science and Engineering at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem Israel. I received Ph.D. in Computer System Architecture (September 2016- July 2020) from High Performance Computer Research Center, Institute of Computing Technology (ICT), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS), Beijing, China, and Master of Technology in Computer Science (September 2012- August 2014) from School of Information Technology, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH), Kukatpally, Hyderabad, India. I was a post-doctoral research fellow and special research scientist (September 2020-September 2022) at The State Key Laboratory of Information Security, Institute of Information Engineering (IIE), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), Beijing, China. I was also a Data Center Engineer (April 2021- December 2022) at Troll Housing Data Center, Norway. I am a co-founder of Nepal based IT firm, named, Harness Solution Pvt. Ltd., Kathmandu, Nepal. Previously, I worked as a Computer Engineer/ IT In- charge in Higher Secondary Education Board (HSEB), Ministry of Education, Government of Nepal. In addition, I was an and IT Expert in National Examination Board (NEB), Ministry of Education, Government of Nepal. I have been awarded CAS- TWAS President’s Fellowship for pursuing Ph.D. degree at the Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China. My primary research interests are Online Algorithms, Scheduling, Artificial Intelligence, Sustainable Computing, Fault Tolerant, and Cloud and Edge Computing.

Due to artificial intelligence (AI), several sustainable approaches for cloud/edge computing are entering a more mature phase. Moreover, the information sharing, prediction, and intelligent decision-making capabilities help to manage recent cloud/edge framework that play an important role in improving not only energy efficiency but also the performance. Thus, it is essential to investigate the trade-off between the intelligence and sustainable approaches for cloud/edge system.
